First I want to say I normally love Toby Keith's music. I've always enjoyed his songs. His newest album though "White Trash With Money" has a song on it that I found very distasteful and not up to his usual standards. To be honest if I'd heard this song from him first I probably wouldn't be interested in hearing other songs by him. I found it very derogatory to women in general but especially to BBWs. You can read the lyrics at this site: http://www.popular-lyrics.com/lyrics/toby-keith/runnin-block-12749.html I think he was trying to be funny but it does not come across that way at least to me. What do you think about the song?

I was surprised by this, I also am a Toby Keith fan, and a few of his songs are my favorites. I have to agree that if I heard this song first I wouldn't listen to his other stuff. It is not just offensive to BBW's but to me I think to all women since it reduces the woman's worth to what her body is like. At this point it makes me not even want to listen to songs of his that I really enjoy. I likely will not really enjoy the good songs as much because part of my mind is going to remember the lyrics to Runnin' Block.

That was my take on it too. I was really shocked that he did that song. I love his music before that but this one really made me feel horrible. It's not only demeaning to BBW's and women but really it doesn't put men in that good of a light either. Makes them look pretty pathetic as well.

I love Toby and see this song as a joke. Everyone has at some point in time taken one for the team. Or as Toby says running block.

I like Toby and normally enjoy his humor. This one though to me isn't humorous, it's just cruel and mean. To each their own though.

I usually love his music and now acting too. After reading the lyrics to this song I don't think I will like it. It is a disrespectful song to BBWs.

I agree. Normally I love his music. I haven't seen his acting except in music videos which I have enjoyed but not quiet the same. I was actually shocked when I heard the song. I then had to find the lyrics to make sure I had heard it right. I can't believe he did that to be honest. It is in very poor taste.

Skinny I am not. But the song didn't bother me to much. I mean my husband plays the CD of Queens all the time with the song fat bottom girls. My sister was offended with the song when he played it for her. Am I surprized that the Tob released it? No he is rough and raw and I think that is why a lot of us like him. He goes where a lot of country doesn't. I don't think this CD will sell like his others because of the song,

Rough and raw I don't mind. This song just seemed crass and cruel. I don't know that song by Queen so would have to look it up to see how it is. I think one of the reasons I don't care for this one is he is so serious as he sings it. With his others like "Wanna talk about Me" and "how Do you Like Me Now", two songs that the label didn't think would go over due to upsetting women, were done with humor in it. They were in good spirits type thing. This one doesn't seem to have that.

I'm out in the left-feild about that song, I saw Toby Jan.26th in Verona,NY(turning stone casino)& he did not sing that song. Lots of people have complained about it & maybe it will disappear while he is touring. I going to cut Toby a break, overall his music is amazing!! What made me fall in love with him is "shoulda been a cowboy"

Up until this album I loved Toby Keith as well. His music was phenomonal and I enjoyed his work. I loved "Shoulda Been a Cowboy" and from then on I enjoyed I'd say 98% of his songs. This latest album though if it had been the first I'd heard of his music I would have been turned off. My niece recently heard this song and was in shock at it. She actually got tears in her eyes from it and didn't want to believe Toby Keith had sung it. I'm glad to hear he didn't sing it at a concert. Perhaps he has gotten word that people aren't liking it. I'll wait and see how his next album is and go from there.

LOL, I think Toby Keith is cool, and I usually like his music. In general, I LOVE country music, but sometimes I have to take a breath and say to myself "did they just SAY THAT!!?" I think they sometimes try to get attention in "off" ways, but they usually don't do it twice when they get flack for it. Toby is very off-the-wall, but that is why we like most of his stuff. Here is my advice, don't take it personally. He probably didn't write the song, and maybe it was just bad judgement. Look at big and rich "save a horse, ride a cowboy?" My kids love the song, though they have no idea what it means. In a couple months the song will be gone, probably before that if they start getting bad feedback! Give Toby a break, I've seen interviews with him, he's a pretty decent human.

It's just honesty. It's a song relating to an issue a lot of guys face, and most guys really aren't into BBWs. The song is intended for a specific audience, and even if I wouldn't have written it myself, I like that he released something so ballsy. Most artists just water their stuff down cuz they are so worried about offending people.

I have not personally listened to any of his music in along time along with many of my family members. I believe Toby has some issues he needs to work out for himself. I do like the idea of how he stands up for American and have nothing more to say about him. He does have a good voice for singing I have to say that for him. No I didn't read the lyrics nor do I care to.

I really don't like country music to begin with. I think it's all distasteful crap that ignorant people listen too and think it's just awesome because for some reason being an ignorant idiot from the backwoods is the best thing in the entire world or something. Anyway, this is just yet another reason to hate country music and the people that adore it in my opinion. No taste whatsoever and they think it's cute or funny and it's not, it's hurtful.
