This is a very innovative topic :) I would say it depends how your partner likes it. Hands can be used in a nice relaxation providing way behind the head and should be in slow motion as the kiss is on.

If your partner wont tell it then all you can do it to study her closely. What she likes and what she does not. A close observation can reveal many things.
