Occult = hidden. So many people practice and don't even know it because the terminology has been changed over the years. I have practiced, openly, for most of my life so I have spent alot of time learning many methods. What methods do you use for stress management, health matters, and other life concerns, that would be considered Occult?

occult beliefs - magic and energies, balance and nature goodly intentions and seeker of harmony
Am not a consious practicer overall. We burn green candles to draw money to us. Use herbs for goodly things. We are aware of intent in all things. We are well aware of energies of nature, critters and man. We dance!!! Believe in runes. Seek balance in all things. I guess that is about it!

It is good that you are conscious of how you are using the energy around you. Many have no clue, which is really sad. Being able to work with the unseen, or hidden, is a great way to enrich one's life in a peaceful fashion.

beliefs, all points to consider - religion or beliefs can differ from person to person however it is the sharing that each can learn and grow
Yes and how quickly others are to fear what is not known. Awareness opens doors and brings a sense of peace. You learn quickly what is bad and learn to deal with it and not avoid it. Thanks for responding to me.

I was a Wicca for 6 1/2 years. I still use a lot of what I learned in my life today. For example, I worked with adults who were mentally retarded and violent. When I worked with the really violent ones I wore as much blue and green as possible. I avoided red and orange at all costs! I have found that people I have an instant dislike to tend to be men and they are Capricorns. I am not sure why. I know that I will NEVER marry another Sagitarius again! I learned so much about myself, it was very liberating. I also try to use herbs more than prescriptions. Just some of the many examples of how I use occult wisdom.

I was unaware that it had a name but I am always aware of what is around me i speak my mind through my heart and not my emotions as emotions can crash the intelligent side of a persons uncontinous mind you can hear though faint the cries of help from those not yet bound and yet never be able to reach them so no matter what you do in life to change things there will be releive when GOD decides and no other. So you call it what you want I figured out along time ago beleive and you will prosper as he sees fit how you handle stress is an emotional type thing is it there for real or is it not and we just think it is becareful what you practice wise one because you never know what is lurking in the wind.

I have severe health problems from an on-the-job injury in 1994. One of the most valuable occult methods I live by is to use all of my inner gifts and talents.

I use numerous Occult practices in my daily life though some days more so than others and some of them I've been doing for just a few yrs and a couple for over 20 yrs...These would be the main ones in my life yoga meditation tarot astrology numerology crystal work spellwork herbs runes (not too successful with those) dreamwork candle work animal/nature work and of course my personal path is a blend of Witchcraft/Buddhism/Vodou which are all considered Occultish I suppose..

I have not practiced anything yet, but I do study different occult teaching occasionally. It really is quite fascinating.

Funny how that word frightens people, huh? By my standards, my prayers to God and Christ are somewhat "occult". I pray to an unseen or hidden force. I have also (on the pragmatic side) used herbs for healing purposes for many, many years, which from what I've read, used to be considered "occult" I also practice Feng-Shui, because I believe the movement of energy through a space is very powerful.
