Are there any sites that teach u how to knit or make clothes??

I need something that will do step by step instructions where its easy to catch on.. I would love to learn to make clothes and knit but I have never done it and have no one to show me how.. Is there a site that you have seen that helps? Thanks alot

Have you seen the knitty.com website? There are always new patterns there. If you have a library they always have sewing and knitting books. Also, used bookstores usually have some. It's good to have reference books in case you get stuck.

For learning to knit, there's http://www.learntoknit.com/home.html It starts from the basics of learning to knit and crochet both. Knitting isn't so hard once you understand how it works.

about.com Do a search for knitting or sewing. It has directions and links to other sites with directions. I learned how to knit through directions I found here -- with pictures.

Well there are hundreds of web sites, just type in learn to sew,sewing info etc. I have sewn since I was in high school and I was a training instructor for twenty years and now i am a contractor that makes medical scrubs. If you have questions about sewing i may be able to explain it to you over the net. Do you have a sewing machine? What kind do you have? I can give you some pointers on the type you will need if you like.
