Is it better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid rather than to open it and remove all doubt?

It is better to open your moth if you are really stupid only when you are sure of some things and you don't mess everything up. I always talk and i have no problem doing it. I know some people which are stupid, they know that but they continue to talk like some wheels with water. Good luck!

It is probably more prudent to keep quiet and allow people to remain uncertain as to my stupidity. However, as I am very accustomed to being viewed as stupid it no longer bothers me a great deal, so I would probably open my mouth and to hell with the consequences.

Sometimes it's better to let them think what they want...then smite them when they're least expected.
