Aren't you fed up seeing topics that have no sense at all?

I am really getting bored seeing such topics that I really don't think matters a lot. And I also find a lot of topics that has thousand of duplicates. It is already stated in the guidelines that you must search for the topic first before posting your topic but still people here post new discussions but doesn't care if that topic has been posted for already thousands of times already. It has been a problem of mine finding a good topic to read. I am having a headache trying to find a relevant topic.
and I always see topics like "What is your Favorite color", "What is this and what is that", there a lot of search engines there that would answer most of the questions they are asking but still they want to talk nonsense just to increase their earnings. I am getting tired of this. I want to find interesting topics but I have no choice but to respond on such topics just to keep my self from being bored. I am also searching for quality posts and trying to compare it from my posts but I don't think I can still find those kinds of posts, which is like finding a needle underneath the deepest sea.
I know a lot of you share the same sentiments. If only you can report the topics abusive but there is no grounds for that topic to be deleted. And in fact those topics are getting too many at this times. There is no way I will spend a lot of time here just trying to report the abuse of useless discussions that I found here. If only I joined myLot before. Maybe The topics here is a lot more interesting than what I am seeing right now. If you can manage to do the authorative implementation of the guidelines would you delete all these discussions? But those persons who replied on that topic will lose their points and they will lose their cent by cent earnings. How could myLot possibly find solutions for this? Can they view all new discussions first and screen whether the topic is good enough to be posted? Then take the decision of displaying this topic to be seen by everyone?
Your views are very much welcome here. Please show me what quality posts are.

I see where you're coming from and yes, it does get frusrating. Let me tell you though, in the 3 months that I have been here, things have improved dramatically! You never used to see quality discussions at all (maybe rarely) but now I seem to be finding them more often than not. Mylot is getting more strict on people following their guidelines but they cannot do it alone. If you see people violating rules by copying and pasting other peoples' discussions or making comments/posting images in discussions which have nothing to do with the topic, you are to report them. From what I've seen, you might not see mylot delete such discussions/comments right away, but I think this is due to them getting such heavy abuse traffic-they cannot even keep up!

I can also see a lot of discussions here that has no sense at all but I also hate this people who is replying nonsense. I just can't find you guys being helpful in this forum so better mess up with people like you and don't tolerate this kind of stupidity. I really hate this kind of replies. If anyone has a better response please do so. I am also getting tired of this. Useless topics and useless users. If this will last for long I would definitely quit using myLot. People here I think is getting worse everytime I log in here. They are becoming more of polution which destroys the life of every human being living here in the myLot community. If you have nothing to say please don't post. It will only I am getting frustrated by this. The poster of the topic might have a good intention of posting this but suddenly she will get response from irresponsible people. If this thing is going to happen over and over again. I do think myLot needs a very thorough cleanup of useless posts and users.
If those thing won't work out good for them then it is useless to stay here. If myLot can't do anything about this mess then I will not go back here. Those persons don't deserve to stay here.

well, almost 52.000 members, all trying to earn some money!
lets say it is impossible that there are no duplicates discusions, or so called "no sense"topics!
it is also impossible to post topics everyone likes!
i agree there are so many topics that i don't want to read but you can not satisfy everybody!
thank god we are different people with different ideas and meanings, do you see it: everybody dressed in red hihi
and if you search i am sure that this topic already excists!

I agree. Us humans tend to "waste" alot of our potential muttering around in pointlessness! I'm new to the site but I am already kinda tired of the discussions that really lead to no where. Even no-whwere conversations could be designed to make people think, if yer gonna talk about noting...MAKE IT ARTISTIC! Save these "small talk" discussions for a place and time where small talk is important(if it ever is!) If we wern't so afraid of each other alot of this "fluff" could and should be discussed at a bus stop!
Dig deeper people!.... this site is a great idea and an excellent opportunity to have your voice "heard"...who cares who's listening, someone is! We should all think before we speak and so too should we before we write!
Gimmie something I could "think on" and I am a happy camper!

this is a free world and am so sure that every body has freedom his ir her own freedom of speech, what to say , what to do and many, u are actually telling the truth, i believe u should just leave every body to there own interest of heart whatis boredring them is what u see them posting here , thanks

i think you make some valid points. but i say grab the bull by the horns and start some really good discussions. i think there is alot out there that people would be interested in talking about and putting there two cents in. all it takes is one person to buck the greediness of posting for the sake of posting to earn the almighty dollar. word.

yeah.. so many times it happens that one topic is repeated so many time.. just like Saddam's topic.. well what is your fvt color and whats your occupation these all are repeated topic from so long.. well but frankly I wish to appologize those friends who are asking on same discussion because you know they might think a lot before starting discussion and while starting that if they come to know that this topic is repeating they must think I also think lot so why should I not start this topic where so many topics are getting repeated by all.. Its just like one tale which we study during childhood that in one village the king ordered to fill his bath tub with milk so all citizen have to come to that tub with one bucket of milk one of the citizen thought why should I bring milk its costly if I put water in that, who will see?? well mind well its not his alone thought.. all thought the same.. and next day the tub was filled with water.. ha ha no one drop of milk either.. and this is the same thing.. hope you can understand what I mean..

while i agree with you that its senseless to post questions already asked, thats excactly what you have done, ive seen poeple post a discussion on there frustration about repeat discussions soooo many times so if you had botheres to do a search you would have seen this question asked a bunch of times and could have responded to one of those posts instead of doing excactly what your complaining about and clogging up the system with yet another repeat question. If it bugs you so much then mayby you should stop doing it, dont be hypoctiitical, simply dont respond to those questions move on to one that is original.

Yes i tried to give good topics. But rarely got responds. But some topics. i couldnt understand are reciving lot of responses. Really i m also boring to read thes topics

hey midnyt if you go through the topic thoroughly then u will find thousands of interesting,informative and relevant topics..its not only that u will only find such topics on the main page.!.and why to report those topics abusive? let ppl do wht they are doing...they will definitely stop starting such topics when they will not get any reply!...i have also found that such topics are started by the new comers(i m also new comer but i does'nt do that) and i dont think that myLot pays them for such topics...so just cheer up..everything can not be as straight as u want!

I appreciate where you're coming from. Yesterday I went through the very long list of new topics that hadn't had responses at all. It was no surprise, with many of them, that people hadn't bothered to answer them. Two 'discussions' one after the other consisted of 'Hi.' Good grief. Many of the others were obviously only there to build up the number of discussions different posters had started. Hopefully myLot's system would see these for the time-wasters they are.
On the other hand, one good thing about going through the list of discussions that hadn't yet received responses was that there were some that were worth responding to. So it's a bit of a mixed bag here on myLot.

I dont think that ur point is right, see ppl are here from all over the globe so a topic for one kind of ppl may not be good for others (or even it will oppose) the best thing 1 can do is just open and respond to dicussions for ur own interest. And I dont think as well that, there are similar topics problem, see there are a lot of postings here, so this is not the responsibility of a member to first view 3/4 pages of discussions and then stop or change the topic.

I am talking to people like you! just reading the headline post a non sense reply and flaming me. That's what I am talking about. Those people who really doesn't care about others just wanted to reply on the topic and giving hell of a useless reply. I know that this kind of people are those who is getting too much into my nerves. I'm not taking this personally but hella please do post a good reply. You aren't funny and I really hate this reply. If anyone could please post a good one here. I am getting frustrated on people like this...

hey, ease up my friend. relax..yes, some topic here may sound boring or even stupid to some. but come to think of it..ang pinanggagalingan ng mga topics dito ay from almost all over the world and am pretty sure na may iba-iba rin silang kaisipan. what's boring for you might not be for them. what's not important to you might be important for them. i hope you can understand me here. what you can do, if i may suggest, is for you to just ignore topics you don't like and respond to those you like. life is so simple so please let us not complicate it. hayaan natin silang mag share ng thoughts nila and am sure, if you're going to be positive about it, we will still learn something from it..

Hindi naman sa gusto kong mangaway dito, gusto ko lang malaman yung views ng ibang tao sa mga boring topics, I stated mine, pero wag naman sanang masyadong personalan yung sagot sakin. I am just asking them. So answer if they like just what others might think of that this topic is boring. Fine with me. I am not against anyone else, I am trying to see their views out of this question. I just can't think of it that they are making this topic personally. They are already flaming me. I agree with you on that. I,myself, perhaps is guilty of posting topics which I wasn't sure if there were postings such as what I have posted here. Since I am a new user of this site, I don't really know if I have committed such grave mistake of having a somehow similar topic posted by other people here.Sometimes, I won't take time to browse old topics already posted on this site.
There are lots of nonsense topics posted here, but we always have a choice whether to reply on these or not. If our primary goal is really to increase our earnings,then, we won't find time to filter out crappy subject matters anymore.
On the other hand if our objective here is to enjoy and learn as much from other people, then, I believe there lies our being picky on topics posted here on myLot.
Selecting quality posts is always subjective.

Well what I did is just ask everybody about their view of senseless topics. And that guys replied with something offending. That was the first reply I got so I can't control myself for that. Don't take it as if I did the worst thing in the world. I know on my part that I must not do those but please don't take my topic personally or else i'll take your replies personally too. This topic is actually based on that dicussion that I've responded which is I think came from you.
I'm sorry if you don't like what I did but you also don't have the originality. Sorry for making you guys angry at me. But some of you also got into my nerves. I hope you get the point.

i think you are right a bit,but as you say that there are a lot of post there and we have to reply because of the shortage of good discussions,i also posted number of such discussions,but now i am losing my attention from starting discussions and now i post to some discussions and switch off the mylot...

people should respond to these discusssions and they should understand the facts in these discussioins and they should follow them so participating in discussions is a avery god thing.
