Could Yamuna look like thames ??

One day I was reading newspaper and one headline was caught by my eyes says "Yamuna would look like Thames in next 2 or 4 years".. some thing.
I wondered that from how many years Delhi Govt. is planning to clean Yamuna but nothing has achieved. Yamuna is most populated river of the world especially in delhi. Delhi itself Contributes around 3296 MLD (Million liters per day) of sewage water into it.
There was Yamuna action plan started in 1993 But nothing has achieved till now.
What is your opinion?, What you think Govt. should do to clean yamuna faster.

yamuna is our holy river.... it is our duty aldso to keep it clean and not only the governments initiative ....with peoples awareness we can protect this river

I remember reading that article and feeling a false hope. I don't think this is going to happen anymore. :(
