Insomnia

I have had several nights where I have had to get out of bed because if I'm not asleep in an hour I'm not going to be asleep for awhile. Does anyone have bedtime routines that they believe help induce sleep? When you can't sleep how do you spend your time waiting for the sandman?

I take a glass of warm milk, lay down, and in 15 minutes I'm out.

I usually go for a week of very little sleep before my brain gives up to my body! Hope things are going well for you now.

I also am cursed with insomnia on occasion. I find it best to clear my mind of all thoughts by wtching tv or reading a book before I go to bed. If I have something on my mind I can't go to sleep because that thing will run thorough my head all night.

That happens to me too! I will be thinking of all the things I need to do. I think I feel more sleepy if I pick up a book than anything else.
