Does Anyone Have this Coffee Pot Brew Station?

I'm thinking about getting the Hamilton Beach brew station and it's about $70, give or take, but I would rather find out from someone else before I buy it if it is worth having or is it too much trouble to set it up everyday to use it?

I have one and I love it! I drink coffee all day. I set the pot up at night when I go to bed and there is coffee waiting for me when I wake up. The coffee does not get the old burnt taste that you get from a glass pot after coffee has sat awhile. The only drawback to this type of pot though is that sometimes it drips a few drops after you get your cup and it does not always hit the little drip catcher at the bottom. I like that the coffee actually tastes fresher longer in this pot over the traditional glass coffee makers. And it makes good tasting coffee.

Way cool, I finally went out and bought one and so far it's outstanding! I like the features, the price was good, I got it for half price too, yayyyy, and I like the idea of not having to pour a cup of coffee and worry about spilling it all over the place because the pour spout on the decanter is shaped wrong. Just put the cup under the spicket and push. Way cool

We have the brew station and we love it ! My husband got it for Christmas last year (2005), and it has been used daily ever since. It is holding up well. It is super easy to use, and really easy to clean too.

That is way cool! Looks like I need to weigh this out, price and quality, before I go coffee maker shopping. Until now I have always used Mr. Coffee coffee makers but the decanter kept getting broke ... sheesh even ... I've never owned anything from Hamilton Beach but I want something different and easy for a change that doesn't cost mega bucks, but those other coffee makers sure look nice ... and pricy LOL. More than likely after all these good responses I will probably end up getting the Hamilton Beach brew station, for now, unless someone out there has operation and/or warranty issues with it ... at that rate I would choose something else. Thank you very much for posting ;)

No sorry I do not have this particular Coffee Port Brew Station although we do own 2 others, we do not use ours that much but in the winter time it does come in handy more, but at the price that you would be buying it for it sounds ok as ours are more dearer than the price that you are buying it for.

Thank you for your comments and you are right, it isn't the price that counts as much as the quality of the product, unless you're broke after the holidays, then a person doesn't have too many choices LOL

I don't know anything about it but... I have a Senseo that I got for Christmas and let me tell you it makes a great cup of coffee. I had a black and decker home cafe...piece of junk..don't get that. Check out the senseo.. www.senseo.com and it's in many languages if others are interested.

I checked out the Senseo online with the link you added, nice lil' coffee maker. I see that Walmart and Target sell them so I might have to go shopping. LOL I like the system much better than the Hamilton ... sure glad that I posted this question otherwise I would have overlooked the Senseo :O ... Thank you very much!

NICE coffee machines, but I haven't found a price on them. I don't know if I want to spend a fortune on a coffee machine, but then again, I wouldn't mind having them either. Is there a store in the USA that sells them? Thanks tons ;)

Although I don't brew coffee, I did buy a brew station just to make instant hot water in an area where that was needed. I did like the brew station a lot except for two things. First it has a rather large footprint and second, mine broke after only a few months use. I think, though that the one we bought may have been reconditioned as it cost only $30 at one of those junky little discount stores where we love to shop. The Senseo was attractive, but not available in white, so we bought a Melitta 1:1 with less capacity than the Hamilton Beach and slower to "brew" but much smaller.
