# 41 A cat questions for owners only

My older cat, Benta, will climb a tree located next to our home. She stays on the roof until it is time to come in. In order to get her in I have to open the screen door and coax her to come onto the edge of the door. Once there I use a blanket to have her lay her front paws over the door and ease her into it. She is very trusting.

I believe I qualify, because I have 3 fuzzy little guys at my house. They are older now, ranging in age from 9-13, but they are still a lot of fun. Our middle cat is the one we've nicknamed Psycho Cat. He can figure out a way to do everything. For instance, the other cats would jump from the bottom bunk to the top one. Not Quincy. He climbed the ladder. It was one of those little metal ones, and he zoomed up it like a pro. In Tennessee he could open all of our cupboard doors, so my husband put plastic spoons between the handles to stop him until we got baby things to put on the doors. But the best one was the time we'd lost the baby hamster. I told him that I wanted him to find the hamster. He went to a cupboard and meowed. I told him no, there was already food in the dish, but he kept on insisting. I opened the door to find the little hamster sitting in there with a pile of his little seeds. How about that!

When we first got our white male cat, he was just a little thing. He was a stray and I really think he need to be with his mom a little longer but she was no where to ber found, so we watched him very closely for a while. I had him on my lap working on the computer one day and I happened to pass gas? The little bugger tried to bury me! hehehehhee He keep scratching at my clothes trying to cover me up!

My cat sits beside on the edge of the bath tub whenever I take a bath. She likes to lick the tub. At least once a month she falls in. You would think she would have learned by now.

Oh this is a funny thing my kitty did one time We have a corner fish tank and the couch sits about 2 feet from the tank well my cat will sit on the side of the couch and watch the fish well one day she decided she was going to catch them she got ready and jumped toward the fish and hit the tank face first oh it was so funny!! Oh this is something my cat does all the time she plays with small pieces of balled up paper and she will fetch LOL i will thump the paper she runs and picks it up with her mouth and brings it back to me (no lie)!!!

We have two cats and the 2 year-old female literally plays hide and go seek with me! I have to run around the house and hide somewhere and she will sneak up and pounce on me, let out this purr-chirp sound and then scramble away to hide under the couch or in a closet. Then I go sneak up on her and tag her. She then makes a funny noise and then runs and hides around the corner, peeks her head out with wide eyes and that is my signal to go hide again. Her eyes get huge and she shakes her butt and gets all excited. The faster I run the harder we play in general and she will tear around the house to get me after I hide. Sorry if I didn't draw a good picture - I guess you would have to see it in person but it's a lot of fun!
