What is the technolgy that has been used for MyLot ? I see that they have used .NET ( Microsoft technolgy ) for the front end. What is the architecture ( both logical as well as physical ) for this wonderful thing. Any insight into this would be wonderful. Techies, excite your brains and lets discuss.

They are using asp for the scripting! All scripting is web2.0 as I see...I think its a work for some really great scripters about the architecture: I think its on a linux based server

Mylot is using ASP .NET technology and Ajax technology(for those rating buttons that don't require the page to be resent to the server in order to post your vote, and also for those new added sorties).

They use ASP for scripting, my guess is SQL server for database. I hate ASP and all microsoft programming lol. I don't hate it I just don't prefer it. For example, I would have built all of this out of php. I don't know how they did it all because I am not a super duper god of programming, but my guess is even the forums we're built with asp handling the posting and then passing it thru XML maybe.
