Ebay ratings

I have a feedback of 178 with 99.4% rating. My very first item I sold, the buyer gave me a negative because the shirt was wrinkled. She tried saying it was dirty, but the tags were still on it...I guess it was a chance to make a newbie to the frustrated! I didnt let it get me down, I kept selling and now a year later (yeah..I slacked!!), I'm finally getting it back up there! The only thing I would change is that they dont let it help you when you have repeat customers who give positive feedback. I had a guy who was buying two or three ties from me a month, because he was pleased with the quality of my products and service, yet it doesnt reflect that when you look at the numbers, until you go to the feedback page. That could throw someone off who doesnt know how the feedback system works!!

I have 1221 and my rating is 99.8 percent. What brought it down was someone in New York said the book took to long to get to them when they only paid for Media Mail shipping. I always state in my listings how long Media Mail can take (especially since I was in California) but you can't please everyone and I know I didn't do anything wrong since I shipped it the day after they ordered it.

I dont know much about ebay but i want to know how it works and can we have fun at ebay buying and selling??????????

the eBay ratings/feedbacks shows to other peoples ur curent and past transactions... if u are a good dealer or scammer.And let other see ur opinions about other eBay persons. ;)

I have been selling on ebay for a couple of years. I sell custom made doll clothes for American Girl and Bitty Baby dolls. I have a rating of 99.8% and have 787 positive feedbacks.

I only buy on ebay I have never sold anything so my ratings are 100%. I have a friend who sells all the time on there and her ratings are 99% I forgot what brought it down but it was something really stupid. The person never wrote to her about the problem which she would have taken care of right away. I have had a few problems with buying but after writing to the person they took care of it right away. People just need to be patient with the sellers and try to settle things before you go bad mouthing them. Also you should always make sure you are protected through pay pal. I have a rating of 99.9% with a score of 750. That amounts to one negative from a lunatic seller who was more than strange.
