For my daughter it was probably her new cell phone and for my son it was probably a tie between the power wheels and the v-smile. What about yours?

We saw those but didn't get them!!! Will have to keep an eye out for those to give at a later time. They will teach some creativity as well as give them something to do!!

I tricked both of my girls really well this year and those gifts were their favorites. We went to the store one day and my youngest wanted this silly little basket ball, nothing great about it and cheap. My oldest seen this cute fake bracelet with diamonds on it, she wanted. I told them both no because Christmas was coming. We left and came home. The next morning I left and went back to the store as they were opening and bought them both without the girls knowing. 2 days later the girls took Daddy into that store, going to try the other parent trick, but they had sold out of both things. I found out what they tried when they came home so upset. X-mas day when they opened their packages and found those little gifts they were so happy. My oldest one hasn't took her bracelet off yet and my youngest is driving me nuts by bouncing her new ball none stop. Both girls received some really neat gifts this year, expensive too, but those two from me were by far their favorite. It's not about the money, it's about the love behind the present.

Absolutely!!! My son also got a power rangers watch that probably didn't cost more than $5 and he LOVES it!!! It just so happens my kids DID prefer the expensive things this year. I have discovered from the advice of a friend how much home made gifts are appreciated as well! I think my Grandmother was more pleased with her gifts this year than ever! Thanks for such a thoghtful response!

My daughter(4 yr old) loves the v-smile I got for her and her brother. My son(2 yr old) loves his cars and racetrack. He actually has another one waiting at home(we are visiting family) that he hasn't seen yet.
