With his outstanding form this season, it seems that Ronaldo has matured and curbed his showmanship instincts. He has become more of a team player with his excellent passing, crosses, positioning, and running. He is more than qualified to take over the captain's armband from Figo.

Thanks for your comment. The captainship will make him an even better player. He is now ready to shoulder more responsibilites.

HE's not the best player.. he's good but not best n perfect ! I can see some faults in his play...!!!! though he is good .. now it isn't the age for him to get into captainship !!!!!! He is not matured .. though im the great fan of this guy.. some facts should be accepted ! HE is good this season n will be better tomorrow.. but for captainship.. he needs some time !

Agreed that he needs some time and there are flaws in his play. But he is improving all the time. With the responsibilty of captainship, he will grow more into a team player. Scolari has already pinpointed him as the next captain and he must have seen some qualities in Ronaldo to say that.
