Do you think that people who abuse animals should be punished?

yes they should b punished!..

When I was working in security, there was a guy who decided to leave his car in his vehicle (windows all rolled up) while he went to work (a ten hour shift) during the Summer season...in the south of America. I'm not sure how much you know about American weather in the south, but it gets in the 100s Farenheit here in the Summer. I approached this guy before he stepped into the restuarant where he worked about his dog. He called me every name in the book, saying he did it all the time and there was nothing wrong with it. So, I let the guy go on to work because I had seen one of the police officers I worked alongside with patrolling around the area. I asked him to roll over to where I was and told him the situation. The officer walked in and told the guy if he didn't take the dog home that he was going to arrest him right there on his job for a felony offense (animal abuse). I just couldn't believe how this man reacted. He totally believe there was nothing wrong with leaving this dog in the heat for ten hours. I think it's right that America has a felony punishment for such actions as this.
