No. I can never suscribe to such statement. If you are intelligen, use your intelligence to decide which education is best for you. It would have been proper if your statement reads "...but I have no opportunity for quality ..." Learning stupid stuff that are not of interest to you is not ruinous. What you find stupid is what someone sought after and never find. And besides, no knowledge is a waste. You may need what stupid stuff you learn today useful tomorrow.

No, I can't agree with that. A person can never learn enough. You may think that it's useless information, but you may find one day that it will come in handy. You're never to old to learn something new either. Why not trying taking courses in something you're interested in?
