Pills, pills and more pills. The doctor has a pill for everything but what about herbal medicine ? You will be hard pressed to find a doctor who will recomend herbal medication's. If it isnt in pill form then forget about help from your doctor. Science insist that herbs have little or no health benefits, what they dont tell you is that for every pharmasutical made medication there is a plant dirivitive. They dont tell you this because pharmasutical companies are not allowed to patent natural products so when they find a plant that has healing powers or health benefits they must make a synthetic version of it before they can patent and sale it to the public. There are thousands of plants that are beneficial to our health and well being but we are not made aware of them because the pharmasutical companies have been unable to make a synthetic version. I think all doctors should be schooled in the art of healing with herbs and plants so we may have the option of using this alternitive medicine. What is your opinion on the subject ?

I'm done with regular doctors for the moment. Mainly because of the pills. I've been on so many pills and suffered so many painful side effects that I couldn't take it any more. I'm on a holistic healing plan now, relying on herbal medicine and I'm feeling much better than I ever did. I agree that herbalism needs to become common practice.

I have a doctor who actually recommends natural remedies a lot of the time. He is great. I believe that medicines both prescription and alternative should be used in moderation and used wisely. I have used natural remedies for everything from migraines to burns.
