I love scrapbooking and have been doing it for about 4 years. It's funny to look back and see how simple I use to do the scrapbooks to where I'm at today with embellishments, stamps and doing Altered Art. I haven't had as much time as I wish I had to do it lately because I'm currently living with family until I can find an affordable place to live so I don't have the same freedom or space to do it. I have done many scrapbooks for my daughter that I intend to give her when she gets married, so she has a history to share and to keep. I'm also working on making scrapbooks for myself and each of my 4 brothers of us growing up and such. That's a big job and I've only managed to complete one so far. But I do love it.

I love scrapbooking! I have been doing it for a couple of years now. I can't seem to catch up to present day pictures, though. I have so many pictures from years ago and with 3 kids, there is always a photo opportunity happening so my picture pile keeps adding up. I love looking back through the scrapbooks, though. They tell a story so much better than photo albums.

Find your local scrapbook store and take a class. At the class they should walk you through the basics and give you a list of basic supplies. I teach beginners scrapbooking and I have a handout that you can read online. http://www.scrapnnook.com Start by organizing your pictures. They should be organized by event and then year. Any odds and ends photos can be organized by person in a different catagory like misc. or family. Then chose a place to start. I recommend your lastest roll of film. Take these photos to the store with you and find a cardstock or pattern paper for your background. the paper should coordinate with colors in your photos or with the theme, such as birthday. Then choose a second color or if you first paper was patterned a coordinating color to the pattern. You will use this piece to mat your photos (a mat is a frame in reverse), for journaling, and maybe even your title. Now coordinate some embellishments with the papers you chose. Start with the theme or with the company that the paper is made by. They may have a whole line that coordinates. Buy a roll on dry adhesive, such as Tombow Runner and a paper trimmer. Take all your supplies home and follow the step by step instructions from my handout. HTH Crystal

I just started really getting into it. My hardest thing is deciding what pics i'm gonna use. Then I got an idea from this show...do a collage double page. You know like the types we did in high school of all our friends or posters and stuff. No words, just pictures.

I have been scrapbooking for about 3yrs now and I look back at my layout from the 1st time I scrapped to now and I can honestly say it has really grown on me. I enjoy it and I try to spend as much time on it as possible I even setup the picture my family takes to go with he next space in our scrapbook.

I like scrapbooking. I started in the year 2004 after I gave birth to my firstborn, however, I haven't been succesful making page layouts ever since. I just end up buying materials but don't have the time to actually make a lot. I've a few layouts done, but not enough for the number of years since I started.

I really enjoy scrapbooking! I havn't done it in a while, and long for some time and space to zone in on it. My kids love to look at the books of their life. Even the baby, points at pictures of family he knows.

Yes! I've been doing scrapbook layouts since 1998 when i came across the idea during my web surfing. But unfortunately, since I'm from the Philippines, at that time, I couldn't find enough supplies. But now, it's expected to be a big business here because there are already lots of stores which offer scrapbook materials. Right now, i'm more into digital scrapbooking, because i find it easier, less messy because it doesn't require too much space --- well except for your hard disk space!. I just have the layouts printed in a photo lab and put them in an album.

I love to scrapbook. I actually just got into it a year ago after both my parents passed away and my brothers gave me all their family pictures. I made a scrapbook of them for my younger kids to be able to remember them. I recently made on for my mother-in-law of all her grandchildren. It is so much and it's a great way to preserve family history.

I absolutely Love scrapbooking. I think i own my own store in a little corner of my room. It is very satisfying when you finish a page to see what you accomplished with your own ideas. Once you try it.....you will be hooked!!
