I have a fear of heights. I haven't always had it. I think it stems from my father dying in a car accident where his car went off a cliff, I haven't felt the same about heights since then. Some people are germphobic, hypochondriacs etc. What is your phobia?

Oh my gosh Khokhonut! That's horrible what happened to your father, I'm so sorry. To answer your post, I have a seaweed phobia! Ewww! Eww! Ew!! I can't stand the slimy stuff, I freak when I'm in the water and it touches me. Thank goodness they invented aqua socks! I love to be in water, swimming and diving into waves, just no seaweed!

My hubby hates seaweed too, come to think of it, he doesn't enjoy the ocean very much.

Not sure that's it's a Phobia, but I can't stand for people to sneak up behind me and touch me, like walk in and come up and put their hand on my shoulder or tap me, it scares the heck outta me and I tend to get really nasty with them and ask them NOT to do that again, and make it clear I DON'T LIKE IT..... so not sure if that is a Phobia or I'm just being a B**ch? I have slight clostrophobia, especially in huge crowds or tight tight places. Hmmm appears that I have more "ISSUES" than phobia's LOL. Good Topic though.

Bummer on that road trip for your father from CO to ID and there are plenty of cliffs between here and there. I have noticed that there is a lack of guard rails in CO ... especially in the mountains :O Do you think that we should start another discussion on road safety, especially in the states that have mountains? Maybe we could contact our senator with the problem ... not that it would do anygood :O
