Do electric cars take over from petrol cars in coming years?

Petrol cars have become expensive and now that even crude oil cost is also coming up too much and there is also a fact that crude source is getting empty in another 15-20 years or so...what is the alternative here? do you think that electric cars will teke over from petrol cars or will there be any other solution for this....share your views here...

i hope so as the price of petrol r increasing like hell so i guess yes thy should come!

Petrol prices are going up like hell and teher is some news that crude oil source also getting emptied in the near time and if this happens, theer should be a perfect alternative, isn't it and who know's battery cars might take over from petrol in coming day's...what do you say? Anyway's, thanks for responding

well... the world is definitly running out of petrol soon. something has to be done to prevent this... hydrogen could be an alternative because we don't yet have an infrastructure for electric cars... gas stations should have a "power pump", know what i mean?

Yes and many people say that electric cars maybe the generation next and hydrogen cars...i don't think i know anything about these thing.If hydrogen can be an alternative and if works down well and why not? it is well and good isn't it? got to know about hydrogen thing now.... Anyway's, thanks for responding
