If you had a choice to make between being blind or being deaf. Which one would it be? I would choose to be deaf because I want to see what's going on around me.

If given the choice, I would chose deaf. Because I could still read and wouldn't have to listen to people whining. Force

Deaf, no doubt. You can learn to read lips.

It would be a hard decision. To be blind would mean that you couldn't see anything at all but to be deaf would mean that you wouldn't hear anything. Thinking about it, I guess if I had a choice then it would have to be deafness because at least I could see my loved ones not to mention the sunrise, sunset and so on.

I would rather be blind. Why? Because most def people seems to lose the ability to say words in the right way. To me this is a double disability. please believe me I am not putting def people down! I would always wonder what did that person really say? How would you know if your husband or wife snuk someone into the house? I would rather be blind and hear. Plus there are no def super heros and blind folks have Daredevil. [smile]
