Did the title get attention?? Probably not.... But if someone can tell me what the hell the statement could actually mean we may have a discussion topic in our midst.....

The title is indeed interesting. Existentialism and nihilism are two notion exposed by French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre to indicate that life is basically pointless. All our actions have no rhyme or reason, and they are totally absurd in the eye of the universe. Anyway, this is what I remember from my philosophy classes at college (a long time ago!). Now the question remains: what is the post-modernistic world? It is the society we live in? Is it really post-modern? If so, when did stop to be modern? ;)

Ahhh! Thomas73! I had a feeling that you may have an answer for this one! ;) Maybe in the eyes of the universe our lives as a whole ARE pointless. Given that the universe is ever expanding, ever evolving and timeless what significance do we really hold in it all? As for what is the post modern world? Maybe tomorrow? But tomorrow never comes right?
