You heard it here first. This is the year for the Tribe. They will make a solid run this year. Cleveland needs a championship and the Indians will be the team to bring one home. Don't rely on the Cavaliers. They will lose in the end to the West Coast.

I love the Cleveland teams (minus the Browns...if any Cleveland team is hopeless, it would be them) The Cavs are looking pretty good this season so far, but they are so inconsistant it may hurt them down the road. The Indians are getting better every year, although they can never seem to get ahead. Alot of people say that they need to pick up big name guys, but if they did put alot of money and effort into just 1 guy, it is not going to make the team the best. We need to get our pitchers on track, and hopefully with Trav and Grady leading the offense, everything will fall into place this 2007 season!

I agree that pitching is the key to their success. We can only wait and see now.

After the off-season they had, I would hope that the indians have enough to make a run for an AL Central Title. I think the cavs will go to the finals this year where they lose to phoenix, but as far as the indians go, if they get to the playoffs its smooth sailing with their new bullpen. GO TRIBE!

Cavs are looking weak right now. GO TRIBE! Hopefully this is the year. I loved the year in the 90's when we went to the playoffs...we should have went to the world series not the yankees!!!!

I am not sure about the Indians quite yet. I am a diehard fan, but I think they are another big bat away from a championship. They are in the toughest divison, and there bullpen is so so. As far as the Cavs, they have a good chance to win the whole thing, they are learning to play defense, and they have already swept the season series with San Antonio, so we'll see.

The Indians do look good this year but as I always say it isn't over til it is over. We will see how thing turn out. People always say that this is the year and they are wrong. Lets see how things turn out later in the season. I never count my chickens before they hatch.

I think that the Tribes offense will have another great year with hafner, grady, and Victor and hopefull peralta bounces back and now we got that Boone character outta here and Marte at 3rd who will have a great season. We will be the Champions if our bullpen holds up because we have plenty of good starting pitching but our bullpen sucked last year. Coulda been in the race last year if we had the same bullpen as the year before with Bob Howry who we should have never let go and made our closer1

LOL thats good to hear. Ive actually heard a lot of analyists say they Indians are their favorite this year. Grady Sizemore looks to be one of the best all around players in the league too. I really hope it happens this year, 97 is too long ago.. But Im still banking on the Cavs too. Id like to see them get one more piece to the puzzle but thats fine. Im not afraid of the West, remember the Heat won it all last year.

This is a good year for the Tribe! I think they have an excellent chance this year. If they don't, they should definitely get rid of Eric Wedge. He is no manager. They could do better. Fausto Carmona is the best right now and then C.C. Sabathia. Both of them are really doing great. The Tribe reminds me of the 1994 team. If the World Series hadn't been cancelled, they would have won. That's how good they were that year. The following year when they did go the Series, it was Hargrove who lost the series by leaving Mesa in when he could have gotten anyone to pitch. And, you're right about the Cavs. They don't have it to win. cdejac

We're on our way there right now. Have you watched these last few games? Amazing right now. I don't think you should say don't rely on the Cavaliers...they made it to the finals they did really good for an inexperienced team.
