I'm not really fond of spitting out over-quoted words of wisdom but this time they seem kind of appropriate :) This is attributed to baseball great, Satchel Paige, and it's something that I always try to remember... "Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching."

I don't have any qualms about dancing or walking in the rain. It depends where you are at the time, I guess. If you are in the middle of nowhere, out of sight of opinionated people, then why not dance... I would! If you've experienced a happy childhood, yes, these are the most carefree and wonderful days of your life. Remember the days when you used to don your boots and jump in the puddles? :-) I still do that now! lol. Do your own thing... don't let people restrict you... live life to the full and enjoy it. What if they do think you're sick... you know different and you're the one with the smile on your face. :-)

Isn't it amazing how our ideas about life change as we grow older and have kids? There was a time during school/college when we used to scream and paint the town red when we went out and anywhere out of home was a party. But look at us now, we've sobered down so much now, worried about what others would think(people whom we're never going to meet again) and suppress our little desires. Nobody's perfect and nobody's going to say you're perfect too. So, why not do what U want to do, as long as it's legal and doesn't create any trouble for others.

Oh some people really enjoy the weather...rain, storms, thunderstorms. I have a friend who loves lightning and thunderstorms. She swears she will have a back room in the next house with huge glass windows and doors. You should go out and enjoy the rain if you love it! Who's going to care? And so what if they think you are a little off...hehe.

ya i loooove dancing in rain too! i used to sing and dance in rain when i was in my school, especialy when i'm with my friends. but we i cant do that now as i'm 22 now! people would look at me strangely if i do so now. same wil happen to u to. so better leave the idea of dancing in rain in public. u can always do it wen u r at home in ur terrace.

Oh, what a lovely image! Dancing in the rain! I personally love the idea of dancing, singing, playing in the rain. I quite like to go out and stand in the rain at times. It is such a refreshing feeling. I also love the smell outdoors just after a rainy day. Something about it is so soothing and calming. I say, go for it! If you wish to go out and dance in the rain, do it! No one is going to think that you are crazy. Most likely, they will be envying your free spirit and wishing that they had the guts to follow along and dance in the rain too! ^_^

They say that your chances are greater of getting struck by lightning than your chances of winning the lottery. So, every time I'm caught out in the rain and especially if there's lightning, I yell to the sky "HIT ME!!!!" If nothing happens, I figure my odds just improved by one thousandth of a percent. :)

Stop CARING what other's think. I love to dance in the rain as well. And Do as often as I can! Live like you don't care, Laugh as much as possible, and Dance like no one is watching. I live by those because it makes me a happier person!

I miss doing the same thing as well. Since when it would start raining outside I would go running outside & twirl around, or even start dancing while I'd catch the rain in my mouth. I miss those days where I felt so care-free & didn't give a care in the world to who may be watching me do this. Now that I am older & don't feel I am able to do the same thing like I had used to. Still to this very day.. I love the rain. I am always wishing it rained more in my city. I love being in the rain, becoming so wet that even my clothes stick to my skin.. Almost like ink sticks to paper. I as well love looking at the sky while it's raining. Especially at the break between both day & night. I as well love when it stops raining.. All the colors reveal a beautiful sunset. With all the oranges, yellows, reds all blended together as the sun slowly begins to lower. And the sun rays begin to disappear. Now that's beauty to me.. Rain itself. If only our childhood didn't end up going by so fast.. It's a shame.

I remember when I was 16 yrs old and hanging out with my friends. There was this huge monsoon and for some reason we had to walk somewhere else and then, we just decided to dance around in the rain. Like, we were hopping around and dancing and lunging. We were soaked but that was the most fun that entire summer. Athena Valentine

Dancing whenever we feel like releases stress. It will be great to go out in rains, provided it is not raining heavily. We should try to be natural...... that is be ourselves!! If you feel like dancing then, plese dance.
