Today when the wife and husband is going for work and nobody is in house to look after the child. What should we do. Is is good to keep a maid in the house alone with the child when we are daily watching TV and awaring the people by giving informtion that these maid are very dangerous , you have to verify their name ,adddress and phone in the police station. But today when the earning of a one person is not sufficient for the house to run , one can not sit home to look after the child. Is the cruch is better rather then keeping a maid inthe house alone.

sometimes is good to keep a maid in the house with child,so that they will direct and take care of the children when the parents are not around.

ot many people would doubt that child care providers (or early educators) truly have a heart of gold, patience beyond most anyone humanly possible, and the ability to multi-task at phenomenal speeds...all while keeping kids safe, healthy and happy. That's why we love them! During holidays, child care providers often face financial dilemmas in trying to purchase a gift for everyone in their care...which often isn't practical due to the number of kids as well as low pay received in the first place. But, there are many ways child care providers can express that lovin' feeling and warm the hearts of tots and parents alike without breaking the budget!

I havve never had a maid here we have Childminders where People take their Kids and these People get checked out by the Police and everything before they get registered To me if you are going out to work for extra money why employ a Maid unless that is what you call your Childminders I am just a bit confused about this But here in the Uk they get checked out before they are aloud to look after Children

I think you have to take responsibility for whoever is going to look after your child. In the UK we have registered childminders and the richer parents have nannies. They all have to have police checks and alot are now required to take courses in childcare. If you are employing a maid then their role is to be a maid not a childminder. If there is information being given out that maids are dangerous, then I would rather be poor and survive on one wage than take the chance of any harm coming to my child. Do you not have other facilities where your child can go?

well but technology gives us the solution to keep a check on maid / babysitter at home... you can fix hidden cams to check what does she do while alone with baby and yes you should inform police about the maid that working with you as precautionary effort...

i believe that its no good to leave your child on maids. we should not really trust them that they can do everything for thr wellfare of our kids. they cant replace a mother. you can give more to your child than the maids. maids are only good for the household chores but not the kids. coz you should be the one who will develop their emotions. they can learn more from you than the maids. why dont you just stay at home, have some business or work that you can do it at home. in that, you can have salary & be with your kids.

That's basically what I would say. Although, genuine work from home jobs can be hard to find. I know first hand that it is difficult to survive on just one wage but it's not impossible. And apart from anything else, if someone is going out to work for extra money, hoiw is employing someone else to do their job(ie. looking after children) going to help? I know if I went to work and left my children with a minder or in a nursery, it would cost me as much as I could earn, possibly more, so that can not help at all. And I also agree that if you are worried about who is looking after your kids, if there are this kind of report then it would be better to try and live on less money than risk goodness knows what with your child. In the UK., childminders have to be police checked and do courses, etc. but there is nothing to prove that they are capable of looking after children. I know a lot of childminders and I certainly wouldn't leave my kids with them. As you said, no one can replace a mother and it should be the mother who takes care of the children, not some paid stranger.

I would suggest to put a hidden cam if you finally decide to keep your child with the maids. There are lot of cases where maids abusing children and beating them. You must aware what is going on when you are away. One of the thing to do is keep webcam or hidden cam behind switchboxes or places where it cannot be found and keep a watch on the maid when you are away. Cruch could be the ideal place because there will be lots of children and lots of people and children will be safe and most times nobody hurts the children.

When my children were younger, my husband and myself would work opposite shifts so one of us was always home with the kids. Once in awhile we would need a sitter for an hour between our schedules. A couple of times a family member watched them. You have options but I don't believe anyone is better then family....

it is not good to keep child alone and they should take care of their child if they given birth to their child then it is them duty to take care carefully and f it is not possible to take care their properly then they should keep some lady to take care of their child and like that they take care of their child or keep him in some that school in which the school is taking care of the child for up to evening and after that they are taking leave to the child

When the wife and husband is going for work and nobody is is house. Instead of keepign maid in house. Ask your near one to stay in your house. Like your parents are elder than you who should take care your childresn. Now a days we can't depend in maid. Because relation is always relatives.

Parents are equally responsible for their child care. If both of them are working then they must take enough measures and take care of parents.

Children need to be taken care of under good conditions, but the best comes from parents. cradling hands are the dominant hands. in the first time, a maid replace parents in the house, then by time, she'll take their place in children's heart.

We have faced similar predicament when our children were very young: my parents had to re locate to my sister's place and we were perplexed : we decided to engage a house maid and fortunately for us she turned out to be a wonderful person: but we never abdicated our parental responsibility: I was always on transfer/tours and my wife shouldered much responsibility to bring them up : I made it a point to run back home at available opportunities and seldom missed any occasion/school function/programme where my children participated.

it is must for a child to be in hands of his/her mother. we kow that only mother in the world can sense our feelings. if it is necessary to do job,try to adjust for some years with the child and then when child grows to certain age resume ur job.

When it comes to having someone watch your child, you must do your homework. If using a nanny you must check their background very carefully. If using a daycare center, you must check them out carefully. You want to make sure your child is in the right hands.
