How far is the Taiwan Stock Market going to drop? I just looked at the Taiwanese Stock Market as of today (Feb. 27, 2006). Wow, that was a quick downward reaction!! TSEC market chart dropped, and the OTC market dropped too. Market watchers may want to figure out what to do next. I can see more net disintermediation in Taiwan because Chen’s objectives create instability, which creates more risks, and something investors don’t like. Political Ideology is fine for discussion on the Internet, but in the real world, actions carry consequences and we are seeing the market react to Chen. Does he even understand that he is hurting Taiwan, and encouraging more disintermediation? But if that is what he wants to do to Taiwan…….oh well, practical reality shines again.
