Have you heard about this? The Starwood Hotels & Resorts chain has launched this "job search" (aka promotional opportunity) to find a CBO or Chief Beer Officer for their chain. They have already had over 5,000 applicants from 35 countries! People can apply via their website. Apparently, the selected CBO (who will actually be a consultant, I believe) will get all kinds of their Preferred Guest points towards hotel stays, a travel and expense account for their duties like attending beer fests, sampling beers, touring breweries and choosing beer menus for new hotels.
