Will President Bush's New Plan raise his poularity rating?

I hear he is going to revamp his Iraq advisory team. I also hear changes are going to be made with is generals as well. Will all of this improve his approval rating or is it too far gone....too little too late?

In the simplest terms.. no.
Now, having said that I realize I must back that up. The American Public as a whole doesn't care about his new plan unless it removes our troops from harms way. The American Public I speak of, however, is the vocal minority.
Popularity ratings are false indicators anyway and with a couple years left in what is widely deemed a failing presidency, he need to not concern himself with this aspect anyway. Rather he must try to further the American causes through a hostile congress.
