Anyone ever live in Queens, New York?

I lived in Queens for one year and worked in downtown Manhattan right next to the Empire State building for the New York Archidioses on 34th and Fifth Avenue. It was such a great experience for me that year. I had never lived in a huge city like that and it was soo cool. I was only 18 and had moved away from home. I have very fond memories. I lived in Flushing and took the #7 in every day.

elmhurst! I had a couple of friends in Elmhurst. I loved eating the latin food there....yummm! Thanks for the memories!

I lived in Queens for a while with my best friend. Yet i am a New Yorker, and as a New Yorker let me just say that the Empire State Building is not downtown.
I love everything about living in New York and don't think I could live any place else

Yeah but to me "downtown" is all off Manhattan, even Harlem, geographically, coming form the Bx. I know Harlem is considered "Uptown" for Manhattan residents but Im not on eof those!!
