Yes I know of Renato Russo and like Brazillian music very much. I adore Caetano Veloso, Vinicius, Marisa Monte, Cassir Eller, The Tribalistas (I think that is how you spell it!) and Maria Bethania (especially Maria Bethania). I'm from Australia but visited Brasil for 2 months a few years ago. I spent time in Sao Paulo, Rio and Santa Catarina in Itaja (I think that's how you spell it). I loved Brasil so much and hope to get back there again some time soon as I made some great friends there and had so many amazing experiences. One being your incredible music over there. One other that I just thought of is a young guitar player called Yamandu. He is incredible and I love his cd so much. Have you any other sugestions for any more Brazillian music I could look out for? I'd be interested in knowing what you think is good?
