I haven't seen yet Apocalypto movie but I want to see as soon as possible. Here the news in tv is talking about it as a very violent movie, but they didn't censored yet. A politic in my city said that as soon as possible they will put a sign outside the cinema to suggest the vision of the movie for people under 14 years old. I don't know yet how much it is violent this film but the last Mel Gibson movie "Passion of Christ" was very violent. Do you think Apocalypto must be censored or it could be for everybody?

I havn't seen it and I probably won't see it for a while since it isn't in theaters around me anymore. I don't think any movies should ever be censored, and if people don't like violence, then they should read a review of the movie to see if it is violent, and then choose to see it or not based on that.

I think little children must go with the parents to the cinema and parents are responsable of them so I agree with you.

yes, that is why they have the rating system. I don't think parents should ever let little kids see R-rated movies, but anything less than that is probably fine unless they are really young.

I myself do not believe in censorship of any kind. I think you should decide for yourself if you want to watch something or not. I would not advise letting really young children to watch this movie, but it was a fantastic movie! It is very graphic, and quite realistic. I did allow my young daughter to watch the Passion of the Christ, but only because I really wanted her to feel what Christ must have gone through for us. I do not think she is ready for this movie though. I highly recommend it to any adult strong in the stomach though. Very intense!!

yes, finally I saw this movie! I think It's great: It's very realistic and even if it has lot of blood, it has a very good story and action, you never get bored while watching it. The movie lasts about 2 hours and 30 min but you don't care about the time because it capture the attention of the public with its story and action. I don't reccomend it for sensible persons. You have to have a good stomach to watch it: Some scenes impressed me too that I'm a lover of horros and splatter things doesn't bother very much.
