do u think peter jackson should have directed movies like harry potter?

I think Peter Jackson would have done great directing Harry Potter. If he was directing it, they might have had the same director all the way. But dont even try to touch Star Wars. That is George Lucas all the way. He made those movies what they are.

OMG I'm glad I saw this question! I've thought that Peter should've done the Harry Potter movies since the first one disappointed me. I'm not saying they're as bad as I thought before I actually paid attention to them, but comparing the work done on LoTR to HP, I know it would've been tons better. The animation, the actors, hell, even the script probably. And Peter wouldn't have left out key parts of the movies either, most of which are important to the story line.

No, he does just fine without having to do other peoples franchises/ideas, he's more on the lines of a director now that can afford to do any film he would like to do and I'd rather look forward to something original as opposed to what other people may expect or want him to direct.

An interesting Idea, how about some others like Sam Raimi or David Fincher. They could do a really dark version. Or maybe Tony Scott for amazzing action sequences.

why not.but,then,maybe its kinda scary adventure type of harry potter =D just look at LOTR,its an adult film.compare with harry potter,its for children and teenagers.
