I can't remember the last time I was sick!

What I mean by sick is having to stay in bed, or not being able to go to work/college etc because you're not well enough. I really don't recall, I haven't been sick since i started college 1 and a half years ago, and before that I don't remember. I've only ever taken a handful of sick days off school in my whole life. I feel very very lucky, considering i'm not the healthiest eater either.

You're lucky! I've been dragging this cold since beginning of december, and can't seem to get rid of it. There were a few days that i completely felt out of it, and slept a lot during the day, but the other days it's just been more annoying than anything else (runny nose, congestion, etc.)

Well then sweetie, you best knock on wood! LOL I don't get sick that often either. But I suffer regular migraines that cause me to feel sick. So, I am sick of having migraines. ha ha The last time though i remember I was extremely sick was almost two years ago. I had come down with a high fever, with my head and neck hurting. Of course, everyone knew I was sick because I am not one to call into work sick nor a person that sleeps a lot. So when I suddenly could not crawl out of bed...that was a key factor. My partner thought that I was over heating myself because I was curled up under so many blankets. So he yanked the covers off and I felt like an Artic wind just blew -30 degrees on me. Oops...time to go to the doctor! LOL Turns out, it was a form of meningitis. I received a shot in a very private cheek and was in bed for the rest of the week. It did take me another week or so to feel back to normal...but wow! I was really sick! So, my suggestion, don't get too comfortable or take advantage that your never sick. Because it hits you when you least expect it. Now, hurry, knock on wood!!! :)

it's okay, i'm sitting at a wooden desk! The worst i've ever suffered is one of those 24 hr bugs. I have a friend who suffers from an illness where they get tired and run down, so i feel extra lucky now..:)

I notice that a lot with myself, as well. I'm not a very healthy eater, nor am I in the greatest shape (round is a shape, right?), and yet I rarely take sick days. I only ever remember taking one day off sick from high school, and this is my 5th year (I graduated and returned, just in case you were wondering). I find it very neat and find myself very lucky, but I also find myself very unfortunate. I'd much rather have a day off school to play video games or watch movies!
