I Want To Change The World!!!

I really wish if I have the right to change the world, like being the president of all of the countries presidents, kings, or who ever is leading a country.....I would then end all wars between the countries and inside each country, and force each president (king or leader) to focus in how to build his own country, see what his people needs, and forget about building his country through harming others countries......and more, my biggest dream, is not to allow any country to have an army, or even weapons won't exist if I was to change the world. So what will you change if you got the right to change the world?

Ha, you got the thought i had when i was a teenager. The world will be in piece if everyone is thinking to keep it. The first 2 things i would attend to urgently is birth control and pollution. Our world is in dire risk now. The population growth never stop and serious resource and pollution will burst out one day. I feel that the world population should be controlled, coz endless grow will finally deplete all the natural resource and create more garbage exponentially. Increased garbabge, increased dwelling space and increased consumption of gasoline means, decreased of unpolluted land and also increase in global worming. More trees are chopped down to give way to housing development and more & more CO2 are released (more human, less tree, less O2, more CO2). Besides, pesticide used in agricultural is polluting the clean water source. So i would instantly attend to resolve these issue phase by phase. If these 2 things are left uncontrolled, then all of us in the world will suffer in the short future. Human right is important, but survival is more important. If we could not survive, there is no need of human right.

I would give every country the right to vote not only for their leader but to be able to vote for the policies they want that leader to impliment...as the different parties would put up all the policies then the people would go to the polls and firstly vote for the leader and then the policies so no one party would get in on one good policy and the people have to put up very several crappy ones because he was voted in.

If I have the right to reform the world,to make it a much better place to live in;first of all I will like to stop any war.I n this way we can cut the budgets of the armies. This huge money will be then used in wellfare and betterment of mankind.First and foremost every single people should be educated enough to think of themselves. They should then themselves understnd that corruption will offer no gain, but they will suffer from it only.Lastly I would like to eradicate all boundaries. There will be no countries, provinces. We will not be residents of any country,We will call ourself residents of "Mother Earth".

Thats a hard one. I would ensure that every child has a decent childhood, without poverty or abuse. People are taught how to respect each other and never feel superior towards each other. I would make it law that only people with commonsense and a conscience make the decisions instead of greedy leaders who have no thought for their own people. I would end world debt and ensure that everyone has enough food and water and make every business a public owned company so directors and share holders do not make a profit from the poor. The list is endless. I like all your suggestions. If only people who thought this way did have the chance to change the world!!! A thoughtful discussion +

Your ideas are praiseworthy, but HOW could you make them work? Morality and ethics can't be legislated, and where are you going to find such leaders anyway? Suppose for a moment that it was possible for all the wealth and possessions of the world to be gathered and then distributed in equal amounts to every person on earth. How long do you think it would be before we again had rich and poor? How long do you think it would be before we had very rich and poverty stricken? I don't think it would take long. The problem is that no legislation will change the heart of mankind.

While writing my response my head was amongst your clouds dear cloudwatcher. It is a sad fact that this will never happen because we are not made this way, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we were. What does inspire me though is that there are many people in this world who do see the injustice and even if we can make a tiny contribution it is worth something. Thanks for reading my response.

Hi ItTakesAllSorts, Yes there are many people who thinks like we think and whish that for the world.... but it is sad that they get hopeless and after thinking how hard it is, and they prefer the conclusion that it is impossible...that actually happened with you too, where you said it will never happen.....But guess what, that is the reason it didn't happen, one person won't do it alone, and if everyone think it is impossible then no one will make a step......well making all people rich is impossible, but at least let no one under average could be.....In my opinion if there are 10 people who thinks this way in each country and work together with no hate, then that country will be wonderful in no time.

What do you mean by change myself?!! Do I seem like doing something wrong?!....you even don't know me.....this "phrase" is said or used when someone is mistaken in doing something, then we say change yourself, ie; change the way you think or act. In my case using "think of steps to be done to achieve your goals" is more like, I mean for a goal improving something, as ruling the world is "impossible"

Its not easy at it seems. We people are selfish and we really don't care for others even our neighbors. So if we want to change the world we first have to change ourselves.

I don't see that question everyday. There are many things that I would like to change like stopping wars, anger, poverty; but it doesn't only depend of my power as a president, there are obstacles that may make difficult to do the job.

that's a good dream but need to think deep into it. if no country has their own army and weapons, then how about the safety issues. you need to think of the underground and illegal process of producing weapons and such terrorism issues, if the country doesn't has their own weapon, then how to cope with this issue.

What I mean is not to have weapons any where in the world....so there will be no more terrorism, or they will have to fight with their hands lol. I mean also to stop Making weapons, ie; no one will have it, not countries, not terrorism, not even a single person for defeating themselves....then people and countries will have to deal with their fights in a different way, I think it would be better.

So You Want to Change the World ... but the World doesn't want to change. And so, you insist upon changing it, by doing whatever you think the world needs (but it doesn't, because if it thought it needed it, it WOULD change - because everyone and everything is where it is because that's the only place it actually CAN be. Everything is evolved to the level of its own realization, and gets to the next level when it is ready to do so, not because YOU think it's timetable is too slow). So now you've done it. Changed the world, that is. Haven't you interfered with the World's Free Will (by doing something against its will, which was to change out of accordance with its enlightenment timetable)? Does Free Will matter? That's a Catch-22. Because if you say it does, then you have no business changing the World (against its will). And if you say it doesn't matter, then why is what you think (or your freedom to decide what to think or what you think is best to do) important anyway? Call this Philosophical Dilemma.

You are talking as if the World is a person! And if you mean the people living on the world, then don't worry, no one could say he/she is against making a better world, unless they are asked to pay for it!
