I respect Jordan's game a lot. However, I'll have to go with Magic Johnson on this one. He's the only person in NBA history who could dominate at all 5 positions.

I think that the answer to that question is opinion. They are many greats. No doubt, Michael Jordan stats do not lie and he doesn't get his nickname "Air Jordan" for no reason. He was definately one of the greatest players ever but if u ask different people you will get different responses.

I think he's the best, but for those who don't think he is you have to admit he brought the game to the level we see it at today! He revolutionized the way basketball is marketed from shoes to gatorade... He opened the door for many players that recieve ridiculous contrats nowadays!

it depends on what you define as the best player of all time. if you mean by winning percentage and number of championships won, then yes michael jordan was the best of all time. but if your talking about number of points scored in their career then Kareem Abdul-jabbar is your best pick. it is hard to say who the best is because jordan didnt play against the greats like wilt and larry bird in his prime and magic johnson in his prime. so its hard to say if he is the best there ever was. but he has to be one of the best if not the best.

I would say somebody will pass him in the next 50 years. Well maybe not passing as the skill in the nba will go up but lets just say in about 50 years the entire NBA average player will be about as skilled as him. If anyone says lebron will be better than him i will have to shoot you in the jaw (as Dane Cook would say) because he has done nothing yet, he hasn't proven anything to me yet.
