How many books on your bookshelf?

(1) the bookshelf above my desk in my bedroom: 27 books (2) the bookshelf along the wall in my bedroom: 215 books (3) on my nightstand: 2 books (4) on the bookshelves in my office: 2,642 (some of which are for sale in my Amazon.com bookstore) Total: 2,886 As you can see, I'm very addicted to books, as well. My children each have large bookcases in their rooms containing over 250 book each.

well i have some books but they are all not on my bookshelf,sometimes when i am looking for one of them,i even can't find it.most books are on my bed and dinning room,so that i can easily get them.i think i should arrange them some day,that seems great to order books like a library.i never count how many books i have.

i got 50+, i dont know the exact number cause i still got books that i need to place in my shelves. My books were mainly research books, textbooks, that we use in school, and i also got some fiction books about teens.

I would say that I currently have at least 300 books at home on my shelves. There are more in the closet and the attic, so I don't even know a final count.

my collection is too big... i think i have about 300 books or maybe more. i don't know exactly, i have never count them! i love read and everytime is possible, i buy a book... sometimes also second hands books...they are cheaper!

I have over 1000 books on my bookshelf and in the basement on shelving there. They are also in boxes in the garage. I have books just about everywhere and my husband is insisting that they begin to disappear so we can find the house again. I didn't think this was fair since his hunting and fishing stuff take up a lot of the rest of the space but I guess that if it keeps the peace I will get rid of a few.

I have 3 classifications of books 1) books I read and then give away 2)books I will read and then keep but will loan them to friends. 3) books that I keep forever and only look at them occassionally as I have them stored away.

I have about 30 books so far. All of mine are from a book club I belong to. My problem is I read them once and then they collect dust. I should try and sell them sometime. I get fictional books (Horror stories). I don't like anything else. Others just don't keep my interest.

Well I am a very avid reader and am forever buying books however I recently sold about 40 or 50 books that I hadnt read in some time that were just taking up space....so I guess right now i probably own about 150 or so...thats not including the books my kids and husband have..I'd say in total we probably have 300 or so...

I have hundreds. I had to take some out to our shed because my rom was full of them. Right now I probably have 40 some in my closet bookshelf.

I have no idea, there are far to many to count! I'd guess at about 2000 though.

i have no book shelf but i have many books.

I have probably 40-50 books here at school, and probably some more at my parents house. Some of them are novels and other random books, plus there's a ton of textbooks. I also have a shelf that just has spanish textbooks, dictionaries, reference books, etc. I used to have about 200 or so books when I was younger, but I've gotten rid of most of them.

lol, no exact idea, at least over 500 books, or 2000.
