Is coding on computer is just the cut,copy and paste only ????

People in software industries are saying that there is nothing to worried about as we have to do only cut,copy and paste of codes ???? Is this the situation then what is the need to develop the logic .....

I wouldn't say that programmers just copy-paste. But a lot of them seem to compile code libraries that they can use on different projects. If this is a genuine question, maybe some programmer can answer in more detail.

Well it depends on the nature of the application. If we're talking about cut-n-paste being the same as code reuse, then of course there is going to be overlap. In the world of computer programming there is a notion called "Patterns" these are time tested ideas and methodologies that can be reused so as not to reinvent the wheel.
