Love that movie...just wondering what version you saw, the UK or US versions, both of which have different endings (UK ending is way better, but don't want to give either away for those who haven't seen it). I thought they got around the darkness pretty well with the flares, and views through the night vision camera, but I thought it just added to the clautrophobic feeling. Probably up ther with the best in modern day horror movies in my opinion

Oh, that's one of my favourite films, cowlady! While it was dark, you may want to try adjusting the brightness/contrast controls on your television set to help offset the darkness.
