Online job or Offline job

I read a lot of articles from web sites and blogs stating how profitable it is to pursue an online marketing career. Ofentimes they describe their success stories, how they made a hifty some of money online. Having read their stories made me think, should a continue my job or quit and pursue an online marketing career. If you're in my shoes what would you do?
