resigning guilt?

I was reading a disussion about resigning and here's my question. If you want to (or if you already did) quit/resign your job, do (or did) you feel guilty about doing it? I mean, what if the company has been really good to you, but it's just you that doesn't feel satisfied with your job and want to leave? My previous job of 8 years....they were really good to me, i loved the company, loved my co-workers, but i wasn't happy with my job. I felt so guilty looking elsewhere. It took me 2 years to finally do it. Now that I have a new job....only been there for 2 months...I want to leave because it's not exactly what I wanted. I'm on my 3 month probation, so no benefits or vacations yet. I feel guilty for leaving because they would have to do a search for a replacement already after thinking that they found the perfect person in me for the job. But I mean..I shouldn't have to worry about it because i'm not officially employed yet. I shouldn't feel guilty. But I can't help feel that way. :(

Dear Sindai,
Why should you feel guilty dear? You have to work according to your tastes. If you do not like the job and cannot seem to like the work you do, there is no point in continuing there. There is no point in saying that you like the Boss and the colleagues etc. If you don't like the job and you continue there inspite of that. you'll get stressed up. depression will be the result. Don't you think so? You are working for yourself and not for the sake of others. So leave out feeling guilty and go ahead.
Get a job you like . That guilty feeling will be there for sometime, it'll go off after sometime. All trhe best

i really dont have any guilt while resigning from my job..
u have to move on after all
