Ya as far as the aesthhetics are concerned it may be a big hit! But,the question is whether it is compatible even with the low end configurations or not.

IT may b good, but, the point is wether it is accessible to hall.it needs a minimum of 1GB RAM and may be even a graphic card for effecient working. Will everybody would be able to afford for that?

Well, the software isn't very good. I have it installed at this moment on my computer, and I must say that I perfer Mac OX X 10.4 "Tiger" better. Windows Vista, Microsoft's newest operating system, which was formerly code-named "Longhorn". At present, Longhorn is reserved for the Server Version since the official launch and rename to Vista. ViSta, Visual Statistics software. A free, open-source statistical/mathematical analysis system written by Forrest W. Young using Xlisp-stat. WebCT Vista, Enterpise Learning Management System from the company "Blackboard". It is used in the Higher Education domain as an application for teaching and learning. Vista and VistaPro, Amiga 3D landscape generation software. as much as you praise this software, many of the features are conviences rather than necessities, so Window Vista is not a must have software that will change the world yet.

Every new product from microsoft _ucks in terms of CPU and RAM and Graphix card requirments, however this will be good for the hardware makers as they find it now chalanging and xciting, howver vista seems to be very good, when I will get 512 MB ram, I will install it
