sanath jayasurya vs brain lara......

SANATH JAYASURYA AS HE IS CONSISTENT PERFORMER AND HAS MORE RECORDS THAN LARA HAS BUT LARA IS ALSO GREAT

Lara has to be the best and no doubt in that.Brian Lara is miles ahead and in fact is on th eway to become the greatest cricketer of all the generation.The way, lara is scoring now seems that he might set new heights in world cricket if he goes on for another 2 years or so..isn't it?

i will vote for brian lara.he is still going strong,and best test player i suppose.the performance he shown with west indian batting line up,is great.

same here even i go for BRIAN LARA he is a steady performer

there is no point of comparising one great with other. but personally i feel that brian lara is much great cricketer than jaysuriya. jaysuriya has his own style and flamboyancy. thats ok but he cannot match lara in his temperment. none can forget his innings of 375 and 400 in tests and 501 in 1st class cricket. i guess jaysuriya is more successful in the one day variety of the game as the starts he gives to the team is the base for the build up for the batsman in future. and he was one of the architect of srilankans world cup success in 1996 but lara is more versatile in his shot makings and temperment and is a much better player in the longer version of the game. so the 2 are players of different class and venom and its hard to make a comparison between the 2 greats

its for sure. brain lara s the best. the genius. he can single handedly win a match than sanath. bowlers would fear for lara rather than sanath.. sanath can be rusty.. but not lara.. he can bat for hours.. but not sanath.. the only man to score 500+ in test... only man to score 400* in internationla cricket!

Its not at all tough infact it is the easiest answer, Brain lara is great simply because he made first class 501 and in tests 400, 375 and more than 10000 runs in tests, he achieved lot of mile stones than what Sanath was achieved

Its truely tough and i am too much confussed to answer but I think brian lara deserves the cake coz he has so many records on his credit and thats the big thing which one should go for. sanath is a very good player and if there were no lara records i should surely at once gone for jaisurya.

in my opinion lara is more consitent than sanath.

of course brian lara, jayasuriya is also good but not as good as lara, lara has proved time and again that he is the best. he has taken west indies out of trouble a lot of times in his lifetime and pulled some of the astonoshing victories the memorable being the one wherein he and courtney walsh won the match putting 80 runs as partnership where walsh just scored 2 runs. just brilliant.

I wuld say brain lara is really owesum and he is also in form right now. Everyone will say that brain lara is gud and sanath jaisuriya is getting flopped dese days..

well friend even i am with u it may b the case that jaysurya is one of the remarkable players this sport has ever got but the greatness of lara cannot b compared with anyone not even the master blaster

No doubt lara is the best.a batsman is judjed by his class than by the wild shots he play

i think lara is far better batsmen than surya...surya is a pinch hitter type batsmen whereas lara is far more techniqally sound ....
