Which are the last five books that you've read? This is my list: 1. Henderson the rain king, bellow 2. Pride & prejudice, austen 3. Lolita, nabokov 4. Notes from the underground, dotoievski 5. Oracle night, auster From this list I would suggest like "a must" Lolita. Nabokov is so powerful on his prose, the game he plays with words are amazing for a ESL writer and the way he boards the human mind is just amazing. On the others I would recommend bellow's, because he is creative and fun.
