no actualy it does. if you have more content it actually helps get better rating and also it is more relevant then. one line or two lines are of no help.even you should type like that.

but one more thing i would like to say. i think if we do the typing as it is done which is very scientifically done that is all the keys are placed in their usage and the power in our fingers. say q is placed in such a place that it will not he used a lot but if you see i and e placed in such a way that they can be accessed very easily and that is the reason that the keys are not in sequence and in this manner and i like it very much.

My fingers don't hurt because I use the proper positioning of fingers when typing. I suggest you try to do some typing exercises to practice the correct position. I think this would eventually stop the pain due to typing.

You should relax your fingers while typing, don't hit the keyboard hard and lay it on the table where your keyboard is. I haven't had that feeling eversince I learned to type.

well tht may be one of the reason because i havea bad habbit if tyoping and i struck the keyboard very hard and due tho that even i have wasted few of my dear keyboards. i had a miscrosoft god one but then it lasted for few dasy just becaseu i used it for playing games and i ue to bag when i was unhappy with the game and then the enter button got bad and now i am with a simple logitech keyoboard and hoep this one will last.

In pursuing 50 post each visit here at mylot, I have not experienced what you have, one factor is the position you take, try to practice touch typing, position your fingers at asdfg, using left hand and jkl; using right hand fingers, can you remember your basic typing lessons now, if not let me know I'll come back to you for details.

Ya it is there. If you type much, then the fingers get pained. You can use the speech softwares to write on your pc. I mostly use it when i'm tired. Have a nice day.

Too much typing, espcially while typing improperly can cause carpol tunnel in your hands, and back problems. The Proper way to type is sitting straight up, feet flat on the floor in front of you, using your home keys with you fingers slightly bent and never just wristing your wrists on the computer keyboard (it feels more comfortable in the beginning but in a long run its bad) anyway, hope that bit of info helps your fingers.

yes i feel the same and i think that when it start to pain then we should take a rest and then sit again for the typing part then it will dont increase the pain and also we will get a break from the front of the computer and that will also give a rest to the eyes and that is also a very impoirtant thing.

Proper finger alignment and posture is essential when typing for long periods of time. If not you will notice finger cramps, pain in your wrist, neck and back soreness, etc. If you work on all these things, I guarantee it will help you out in the long run.

Well, I don't spend much more than 1h a day typing here at MyLot during week but during weekends and holidays I spend some hours typing not only here at MyLot but also in IM programs and forums and never faced that and I've never heard of someone talking about this finger pain before.

i find it funny tat you r fngers get tired from typing ,on the contrary i feel that we are losing the habit of writing with a pen or a pencil.we have become so used to typing that ,now, whenever i hold a pen or pencil i don't hold it right and after five minutes of writing my hand starts paining as the practice of holding the pen is going and it puts a lot of stress on the hand, and i have also seen that i can continuously type for hours and nothing happens.quiet strange.i hopw tehology does not make us hysically handicap.

I wonder if you are typing correctly? It does count for something. But there is something more likely to be causing the pain. I know what you're reffering to. I get that same pain when I use other people's computers. The problem, at least for me, is called repetitive strain injury. It's when you tend to type a lot and your hands or body posture is not completely accurate and good for your health. I find that buy adjusting the way in which the keyboard is used. I.E. If it is not straight try straighting it or something. Also try to see if you can simply just rearange the way in which your computer is set up. Move the screen away from you or towards you. Move the keyboard and the mouse or whatever. That normally works for me. But I don't know what is really causing your problem. The only thing to do is to try what everyone has posted and see what fixes the problem.

when i type, i don't use my pinky finger. but apart from that, only my right index finger feels that tingling painful sensation after a long day of typing. it doesn't look sore though.
