Was Juliet honest in her videotaped message to Jack?

In Season 3 episode titled "The cost of living" Juliet tells Jack to watch the T.V. and she puts in the tape of her holding up cards with messages for Jack to read. She basically tells Jack on the cards that Ben is a liar, that he's dangerous and that some of them want a change. She also tells him that he can mess up Ben's surgery on purpose, and make it look like an accident so Ben will die. And that if he does this she will protect him. What do you think of this scene....I mean, do we trust her? Or is this all part of the mind game thing? I want to think she likes Jack and wants to take Ben down but what if it's just a test to see if Jack is "good" enough for them to keep around?

I think she was telling the truth... she wants to be at the power.atraction or not with Jack its clear that Julliete doesn't agree Ben, why ? down are my points of view:
1. the first episode is that Ben isn't coming at the "lecture lesson"[the others told that his sick] from her house, when the plane crashed Ben it's outside, and they look(ugly) one to each other.
2. the second episode it's when Jack opens that "door" and the water flooded and Ben close the escaping door in front of Julieta
3. when Jack sad that only Ben take decision and she isn't important something happened to..it's hard to explain, anyway you get the point ?

hmmm.... could be a thing to make Jack kill Ben and after that she will not protect him..... but we must think let's say that will want to protect him, can she ? i mean she isn't very important, jack would be killed by the others with/or without her permision

i think there is a third option . i think she wants the power over th island and if she gets Ben killed she can become kinda like the leader..and still keep jack and others for whatever reason they jacked them for. But i dont think jack will kill Ben

I don't trust her. I think Ben was the son of that couple who were in the cave. He was probably captured as well, and rose to be the leader of the Others. Juliet just wants Jack to mess up on the operation and kill him. She of course will blame Jack for it and get rid of him as well, killing two birds with one stone as the saying goes. Then she'll be in charge.
