I think this is a duplicated discussion. Anyway here's my duplicated response. I have done 877 at the moment and all my discussions were under general discussions. If you want to categorise them you have to create different interests in your profile and start the discussion under those interests. But the number of responses don't depend on categorising alone. The best thing is to do more responding than starting new discussions.
