Think of things that you feel good about... Regardless of what they are, and think of some past successes... I know when you are at a low this might seem very difficult, but remember you get to define what success means. On some days, just getting up in the morning might be an accomplishment. If you cannot even do that, at least congratulate yourself on having survived this long.

The most important step to recovering from a negative self image is to admit that you have a problem. The next step is to try to reach a resolution.

I think one should think highly of themselves and that should help boost a self-esteem a little bit.

I think when I'm feeling low, I listen to music that makes me happy. Something that puts me in a particular mood. Or I put on a piece of clothing that I know makes me feel "cute" or "attractive". I may put on some lipstick, or nail polish.. or do up my hair. Even if I don't go out in public and show off how I look, it does tend to make me feel better. Maybe it's silly, but sometimes it works. :)

The first step to this would ultimately be is believing in yourself and not listening to anuthing that another might have to say. Ignoring others and believing in yourself as well as loving yourself is always a good start!
