I haven't seen any dogs wearing sunglasses yet. I haven't even seen them for sale. I have however seen doggie goggles. They protect the eyes but are not tinted. It kind of makes sense but, they seem to have done ok so far without them so I'm not going to rush out and look for them...lol
I think the goggles are for dogs that ride on bikes and motorcycles and such. It's more to keep foriegn objects out of thier eyes. Well here's what I found...very interesting. I think I will pass though.

Okay I live a sheltered life, I had never seen or heard of such a thing unless on a movie or such. I did check out the web site -- what are we going to come up with next. I love my dog, but no way would she ever keep a pair of shades on.
I tried when she was smaller to put a little sweater on her so she wouldn't be cold and she ripped it to threads in short order. The goggle thing makes sense for bikes and motorcycles etc. Although, It is my understanding that dogs are color-blind and only see b/w and shades of gray if this is true and we put tinted sunglasses on them it is conceiveable that we will have dogs running into walls, fences, each other etc.
I think it "Funny cute" - please don't be offended by my sense of humor - these are the kind discussions i really enjoy thanks!:)

Yes I have, that and the scarf around the neck! hehehee it is really cute! I don't know how they get them to do that? I know it is just to show off to people, but you are right it might help the dogs eyes. Couldn't hurt?

Is it something that is recommended by vet's? Before I would outfit my pet in glasses I would see what the experts have to
say about it,first...SS

I think it is cute to see that but it is not possible for dogs to wear sun glasses, for a long time. they wouldn't keep them on because their not use to them being on.
