Adverts on My lot

Do you spend much time looking at the adverts on this site. I sometimes do click on them to see what they are for if the headline grabs my attention. Has anyone ever signed up to anything or bought anything from an online advert on my lot. Just wondering if it works. My lot pays us for being here and the advertisers pay them for displaying their adds as far as I know thats how this works. Just wondering if it works to any extent. I havent bought anything (yet) as I havent seen any thing that interests me but if I did I probably would.
