Do you respect that others have their own religious beliefs and are entitled to them, or are you one of these people who wants everyone to believe the same thing that you do and doesnt' believe in freedom or religion? I respect all religions, as long as they are not used for violence.

As long as they don't preach hate or violence yes I do respect all other religions. What I hate is fundamentalism and you find branches in all world major religions being it a christian, muslim, jews or whatever other religion.

Surely what a religion is used for isn’t necessarily at the fault of the religion instead the followers who interpret the religion as a cause for violence and should in theory cause little ill-feeling towards the religion itself. I don’t align myself to any religion yet view them all as equals, I wouldn’t respect someone telling me that their religion is the best and that I should convert, though I couldn’t have respect for myself if I approach anyone who was religious with an attempt to destroy their belief. Having faith and belief is a beautiful thing, it can inspire people and give them the strength to achieve certain things in life, or escape from situations they otherwise wouldn’t of, some people need to have that faith in a higher being, and some people are happy having that belief within themselves.

Yes, you're right. I didn't really explain myself clearly in that last post. I meant that I respect that everyone can believe what they want but that they shouldn't use it for violence, rather than holding it against one particular religion. I agree with everything you said :)

I wasn't sure myself but I pick up on those sort of wordings far to easily and then play off them. :) Thanks also, I then in turn essentially agree with everything you said! :P

That sounds interesting...what is it that your religion is about? I haven't read anything about it. :)

I consider myself more spiritual than religious, & yes, I wish everyone would be more concerned for their own soul than others souls. Especially when they forward their religion with violence & killing non believers.
